Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore press release:

Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore announced today the return of Sunset Jams, a free weekly celebration of music, food, and community at Rash Field Park to be held every Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. starting September 6 through October 25. Each Sunset Jams event will feature a different Baltimore-based musician, including Scott Patterson and the Kojo Red, Caleb Stine, Todd Marcus, Roses N Rust, Black Assets, and others, who will perform at the Park’s BGE Pavilion, spotlighting Baltimore’s creative community and offering residents and visitors an opportunity to take in the sounds and views of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

“We’re thrilled to bring together our community with live music, vibrant arts, and a variety of great food this fall at Rash Field Park,” said Laurie Schwartz, president of Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore. “This event is a continuation of our efforts to celebrate the unique culture and creative spirit of Baltimore, providing a platform for local artists and fostering connections within our neighborhoods.”

In addition to featuring local musicians, Sunset Jams will include a rotating selection of food trucks including Fuzzies, Craving Potato Food Truck, and new for this year, Koshary Corner with vegan and vegetarian options at every show. Also new for this year, the new Rash Field Cafe Tenant, One Do Coffee Roasters, will pilot three new drink cocktails and sell beer and wine during each event.

Throughout the series, attendees will groove to a fusion of R&B, indie, and soul with Scott Patterson, and be uplifted to a tropical island with NU30X’s Caribbean Soul Experience and steel drums. The series will kick off on September 6th with Todd Marcus’ quartet. As one of the only Bass Clarinetists in the world, this colorful and uplifting jazz band is guaranteed to captivate audiences with its unique sound.

The 2024 Sunset Jams series lineup features the following artists:

  • September 6: Todd Marcus: Composer and Instrumentalist Jazz Quartet
  • September 13: Barnyard Sharks: Indie Pop band
  • September 20: Black Assets: Vocalist/singer-songwriter
