The HarborView Marina, which abruptly closed at the end of March, is heading to auction. This story was first reported by Baltimore Business Journal.
The on-site only sale, which includes the marina and a 17,521 sq. ft. retail and office building, is being offered by AJ Billig Auctioneers.
The building is the home of Italian restaurant and marketplace Di Pasquale’s and the former Tabrizi’s wedding venue, which is now Venue XIV. There are vacant spaces within the building.
The Federal Hill marina includes 278 finished wet slips and more than 50 unfinished wet slips of varying sizes. A floating structure called the Raw Barge, which was originally planned for a restaurant, is also included in the sale.
The property includes a liquor license and a parking easement agreement.
The end of the pier at HarborView Marina was once home to bar, restaurant, and pool called Tiki Barge.
HarborView Marina announced in March it was closing due to “safety concerns about the current condition of the fixed pier.” Marine customers, which included liveaboard users, were given just a couple weeks to vacate.
Several sections of the marina have been closed off in recent years due to deterioration.
HarborView Marina is one part of the HarborView community. The community also has separately-owned assets including townhomes, two condominium buildings, a retail building, and parking lots and structures.
