Burger and Fried Chicken Chain ‘Nash & Smashed’ Opens in Federal Hill

D.C. area-based burger and fried chicken chain Nash & Smashed opened last week at 1118 S. Charles St. in Federal Hill. The retail suite was most recently part of the now-closed Banditos.

Nash & Smashed serves fried chicken, smash burgers, and Nashville hot chicken sandwiches.

The burger menu includes single, double, triple, and quadruple patty combos. Toppings include mushrooms, fried egg, onion strings, pickles, lettuce, tomato, turkey bacon, and “smashed sauce.” The menu also has a meatless pea protein burger.

The chicken sandwich menu has the Original Nashville; the Nash & Smash, which combines a burger and Nashville hot chicken; and the Honey Butter chicken sandwich.

The fried chicken menu features combos with wings, breasts, legs, and thighs, along with chicken tenders and chicken bites. The sides include coleslaw, mashed potatoes, waffle fries, mac and cheese, grilled sweet corn, and corn bread.

Drinks include sodas and non-alcoholic mojitos.

Nash & Smashed is open Sunday to Thursday from 11am to 11pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11am to 2am.

Banditos, which was later called Ditos, closed in March. Its former space was subdivided and is now the home of Nash & Smashed and GameOn Bar + Arcade.

Nash & Smashed’s space was the home of 101 Deli Bar and Forever Yogurt in previous years.
