Smokin Joe’s Smokehouse Cafe closed its 800 sq. ft. restaurant at 1448 Light St. in Federal Hill in recent weeks. The Eastern North Carolina BBQ carryout restaurant opened in 2021 after being a catering business for 10 years.
The retail space, which sits in between Shoyou Sushi and Bodhi Corner Federal Hill, now has a ‘for lease’ sign in the window.
The location was formerly the home of Urban Deli, before it relocated within Federal Hill, and later Blooming Deli.
