Taqueria Charro Negro opened in recent weeks at 1504 Light St. in Federal Hill/South Baltimore. The small restaurant space has been vacant since 2018 when Shoyou Sushi relocated to 1450 Light St. Taqueria Charro Negro is a carryout shop and sister location of Charro Negro Bar & Grill in Greektown.
Taqueria Charro Negro offers street tacos with fillings such as grilled chicken, chorizo, pork carnitas, carne asada steak, barbacoa beef, tilapia, shrimp, al pastor pork, and vegetables with chickpeas. The tacos are garnished with cilantro, onions, and side of red or green salsa.
The menu also offers quesadillas and burritos with the same proteins, as well as quesabirria, fried tacquitos, tamales, street corn, chips and dip, and sodas.
Taqueria Charro Negro is open Tuesday to Thursday from 2pm to 10pm, Friday from 2pm to 12am, Saturday from 11am to 12am, and Sunday from 11am to 9pm.
